Ted was born and raised in Montana. He graduated, from The University of Montana in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minor in finance. Ted became a shareholder in the firm in 1985. He was a member of the Montana Society of CPAs (MSCPA) and the American Institute of CPAs. As a member of the MSCPA, he worked with that organization’s Financial Statement Review, Professional Monitoring Support, and Information Technology committees. He also served on the MSCPA Professional Monitoring Program Review Committee which reviews the standards under which the Montana Board of Accountants (Montana BOA) conducts its professional monitoring program and has conducted pre-issuance reviews of other CPA’s under the direction of the BOA.

Ted’s areas of concentration were financial statement audits and accounting (including compilations and review); corporate, partnership, and non-profit tax compliance; and technology. Industries of specialization include construction, manufacturing and production, not-for-profit organizations, distribution, agriculture, and service organizations.

Ted enjoyed forming and maintaining relationships with the organizations and individuals that he worked with. 

Ted married the love of his life, DeAnn, and they have a son Jordan. Together, the three enjoy traveling and spending time together; along with Griz football games in the fall!
